Dr. William R. Eager

William EagerBill Eager is co-founder and President of TDA, Inc. He has more than 40 years of experience in the transportation field as an educator in transportation engineering, as a member of an industrial team seeking new approaches to economics and hardware of urban transportation, and as a consultant on projects throughout the world.

Recent projects Dr. Eager has completed include: transportation planning for a large mixed use project in Dubai, central business district parking plans for the City of Tacoma; circulation and access planning for a new city in Cairo, Egypt; planning of access and internal transit for a planned recreational development in Taiwan. He has developed transit feasibility studies and ridership/cost estimates for the City of Aspen, for groups working on Seattle's transportation plans, and for other projects in the US and abroad. Recreational projects in Colorado, Washington, Jordan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and many other locations have utilized Dr. Eager's skill in planning for visitor access, internal transit systems and practical transportation issues related to their sites. On recreational projects, he focuses on the visitor experience and how it can be maximized within the physical and monetary constraints of the project.

Dr. Eager is a member of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and Principal of INTRA - International Tourism and Resort Advisors.  He is a longtime member of the Urban Land Institute where he was a Trustee for seven years and currently serves on the Public/Private Partnership Council.

He has chaired and served on numerous panels for the Urban Land Institute and the AIA's R/UDAT program.
